The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation partnered with the Bull City Sigmas, Zetas, WG Pearson Elementary School, and the Sigma Beta Club of Greater Durham to host Halloween Trunk-or-Treat. All organizations joined forces to transform a quiet school parking lot into a vibrant celebration of unity, tradition, and festive joy. Families from across the Durham community gathered with their best halloween costumes, ready to take on the bouncy house and gather as much candy as possible. Decorated trunks lined the lot, each one a station of joy where treats were handed out with warmth and laughter. Whether it was a child’s first costume parade or a family’s return to a beloved tradition, the Bull City Sigmas and Zetas made sure every guest felt welcomed, celebrated, and inspired.
Special thanks to all volunteers, families, and partners who made this event unforgettable. The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation looks forward to partnering next year to bring joy to the community.
