2026 Read Across America - Black Books Rock Donation to W.G. Pearson Elementary School

The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation supported Read Across America week by donating books to the library at W.G. Pearson Elementary School in Durham. NC. The brothers from the Bull City Sigmas supported the effort by reading to the kindergarten and first grade classrooms to promote literacy and creativity. 

Read Across America promotes literacy, highlights diverse books, and encourages building lifelong reading habits, with 45 million participants aimed at improving academic, emotional, and social development. The foundation is committed to improving literacy within our community that we serve.
