2026 Read Across America - Black Books Rock Donation to Central Elementary School

The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation supported Read Across America week by donating books to the library at Central Elementary School in Hillsborough, NC. Central Elementary School has been one of our schools that we have supported for the last 3 years in Orange County. 

Read Across America promotes literacy, highlights diverse books, and encourages building lifelong reading habits, with 45 million participants aimed at improving academic, emotional, and social development. The foundation is committed to improving literacy within our community that we serve.
